Charlie's has been part of the landscape in Somers Point since Charlie Thomas opened it as a classic corner bar in 1944. These days it's the fourth generation of the Thomas family carrying on the corner‑bar “Cheers” atmosphere — only with a whole lot more.

The lot is ours and it doesn't cost a thing, but it fills up and the spaces are close. Weekend nights, give yourself a minute.
Kid‑friendly, wheelchair accessible, and there's usually a stool open at the bar.
Call ahead and the wings are ready before you finish the drive down Shore Road. Or just take a stool — there's usually one open.
